Yang Jun

Since the 1980s and 1990s, Yang Jun has taught at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, conducting research and teaching on Chinese comic art (lianhuanhua). He later moved to Germany to study and investigate contemporary art, with his works participating in numerous international exhibitions. His solo exhibition at Mojinshi Space presents a diverse range of styles, spanning surrealism and abstraction, as if combining the full repertoire of traditional Chinese arts with the free-form approach of Western expression. Beyond categorization, it reflects the artist’s unrestrained pursuit of artistic freedom.
