Ma Shuqing

Ma Shuqing graduated from Tianjin Academy of Arts and Crafts in 1976 and later studied in Germany, earning a master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts Munich in 1989. In 1994, he moved to Paris and Provence, France, and nine years later, in 2003, he returned to Beijing to establish his studio in the 798 Art District. He currently lives and works in both Beijing and Paris.

Ma Shuqing’s works have been exhibited extensively in China and abroad, including at Art Basel, the China International Gallery Exposition, the Cologne Art Fair, and the Beijing Art Fair. He has also held solo and group exhibitions in cities such as Munich, Düsseldorf, Koblenz, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing.
