The artist divides the copper disc clockwise into six chapters, each further subdivided into sections. Each beam of light radiating outward corresponds to a completed work currently on display, gradually filling with light until it transforms into a radiant sun, after which a new cycle begins. “Evening mood unsettled”—like each sun approaching dusk, there is a moment of fullness, yet it also signifies the quiet of an ending. However, just as humanity pursues and longs for gold and its connotations of eternity, we are reminded that the conclusion of one cycle also marks the beginning of another. It speaks not only of an art project but also of the turbulent times and society we are living through.
