In March 2018, CHAO specially invited the “Kanlixiang” team to co-curate the Indoor Life Festival under the theme “Open Day,” presented as a special section of the CHAO Mini Festival. Over the course of one month, guests could enjoy a carefully selected program of cultural events, music salons, film screenings, and lifestyle workshops. In addition, CHAO hosted a pop-up festival shop and café, open for this month only.

The Indoor Life Festival also served as an “Open Day” for the CHAO Clubhouse, offering a vision of life as we see it—just a small corner of a vast world. You could wander on foot, learn to find the exact book you seek in the library, savor the long-awaited coffee in the café, and explore the bottles and jars scattered indoors. In these moments, we hoped you might catch a glimpse of a truer version of yourself and meet the people who share your passions.
