Li Shaowen
Li Shaowen, from Yexian, Shandong, is a professor and doctoral advisor in the Chinese Painting Department at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. A member of the China Artists Association, he is renowned for his expertise in ink painting. His works include the Nine Songs series, Divine Comedy, and Court Intrigue, earning him multiple international awards. In 1980, Nine Songs won the Ye Qianyu First Prize Scholarship, and in 1987, Divine Comedy received the Cultural Achievement Award from the Dante Society of Italy. Li’s art, especially in meticulous brushwork and color, reflects a deep mastery of traditional Chinese painting techniques.
