Imagination is like self-programming.
Life provides many ports, and at any moment, one can connect to an imagination. When creating works, many ideas stem from some kind of pressure from reality, adapting and distorting certain experiences and memories. I really enjoy visiting mountains and temples; as spiritual centers in the material world, they offer me a lot of inspiration or stimulation. Usually, fragments from these journeys are reflected back as works of art.
Everything in the boxes is a "tokyue" (a type of ancient wind instrument). I interpret this word in various degrees and from different perspectives. It’s not so much related to experience; if anything, it’s the kind of experience that avoids reality, immersing oneself in the so-called center of the universe, much like Borges' Aleph—a never-ending cycle.
