Imagination is a projection of the past and present—an accumulation of history and lived experience—onto our visions of reality and the future. The inspirations for these works draw from both ancient and modern civilizations, including mythology, technology, film, and video games. Their prototypes originate from the wisdom of humanity and the forces of nature.

Since 1998, I have wanted to transform three-dimensional models into physical objects. At the end of 2016, my home was burglarized, yet the room where I kept my sculptures showed no signs of disturbance or theft. It felt as though the sculptures were protecting their own space. When I am alone with them, I often sense that they are alive—and capable of communication.
