Shan Jia

Shan Jia, a freelance artist, graduated from the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium. She currently lives and works in Beijing. Her works have been collected by the China Printmaking Museum, the Douro Museum of Fine Arts in Portugal, and the Academy of Arts & Design at Tsinghua University. In 2016, she received support from the China National Arts Fund, and in 2019, she was nominated for the Royal Foundation Award in Belgium.

PRINT 100

“Printmaking 100” is one of the art programs launched by CHAO Printmaking Studio for emerging artists starting from 2020. Through collaboration, it brings the inspirations of more young art creators vividly to life on paper. The aim of this project is to integrate printmaking with contemporary art, offering young artists an outlet to express their unique artistic language, while providing them with resources and boundless opportunities for growth.
