Liu Shuyan

Liu Shuyan, originally from Dalian, Liaoning, graduated from the Affiliated High School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and went on to study at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, joining the Third Studio of the Sculpture Department. She is currently a graduate student under Professor Jiang Jie in the Sculpture Department. In late 2017, she participated in an exchange program at the Sculpture Department of the Athens School of Fine Arts in Greece. Her practice focuses on contemporary sculpture, often exploring form, materiality, and spatial relationships to convey nuanced emotional and cultural narratives.

PRINT 100

“Printmaking 100” is one of the art programs launched by CHAO Printmaking Studio for emerging artists starting from 2020. Through collaboration, it brings the inspirations of more young art creators vividly to life on paper. The aim of this project is to integrate printmaking with contemporary art, offering young artists an outlet to express their unique artistic language, while providing them with resources and boundless opportunities for growth.
